Bridge of Sighs

We travelled to Oxford for the weekend today. I had never been there before and was pleasantly surprised. The sheer amount of stunningly beautiful old buildings was awe inspiring.

It was a longer walk from the hotel than expected and very hot, but that didn't prevent us walking all around the city including some lovely green spaces.

A lunch of slightly too much pizza, (but bizarrely, about a third of the amount the two teenage girls on the next table had), meant we didn't need to eat again all day! We managed on a pitcher of Woo Woo cocktail and (in my case) an accidental quadruple disaronno and diet coke, due to a slightly less than effective bar maid in the hotel!

The company, as ever, was wonderful; a very good day.
