Karting around

An utterly utilitarian day hanging around the campsite washing machine and tumble dryer, with the tedium only made bearable by listening to a podcast on my MP3 player.

Later we rented out a four-wheeled pedal powered vehicle that was definitely not constructed from the latest aerospace materials, ostensibly to show our kids what fantastically fit parents they have. Didn't quite work out that way, and our very much no-longer light as a feather daughter had to walk the final uphill bit just so we could get the thing back to the starting point to ensnare the next unsuspecting family. Anyway, this picture of our daughter was taken when everyone was smiling and it all still seemed a jolly good idea.
