River Weaver

Today I took my walking group on the walk that kwdiane and I had tested a couple of times. The weather was perfect and everyone enjoyed it. Even better I had picked up a 33% off food voucher for the pub where we had lunch so the 11 of us ate for a fraction over £50.

This was taken along the River Weaver just before we spotted a kingfisher. After flying along the river it settled on a branch on the opposite side of the river. It was really out of range and difficult to photograph but I have  included a heavily cropped and adjusted picture as an extra.
