Food of the Gods

We've been told to pick these persimmons (caqui in Brazil; dióspiro = god food, here) from the garden - these are too ripe, probably, plenty left...

It's been dull and rainy - first proper rain since Spring, so quite welcome - everything looked very fresh on our round walk to the river this afternoon.

Group at our house tonight - better go clean the bathroom...
