Today's the day ................... to compete

There was a lot of noise on Kendal Green this afternoon - and a fair amount of running.

It was an inter-schools cross country competition hosted by St Thomas' Primary School which is situated at one end of the Green.  Lots of supporters had turned out too to give encouragement and cheer on the runners.

It looked like lots of fun for everyone .......................
