Lazy hazy crazy days

And so begins a week of wine, food, lazing and chat.

And we set off in fine style. Our hosts had arranged things so that there was no need for anyone to leave the compound for reprovisioning today, and we obliged by moving slowly between bed, table and pool. There was a lot of sitting around, some chat, I read a book and performed some underwater handstands. And had a few naps.

And we invented a new lunch dish: a layer of sobrasada (chorizo paté) inside a tortilla. Tasty with a cool glass of rosado.

And, just for the record, starting a sentence with 'and' is officially ok when you're on holiday.
