This is taken in the Studio of the High Society Photographer Edward Chambré Hardman In Liverpool. It was also His home with his wife Margaret. Not only was he a studio photographer but both he and his wife were great landscape photographers in their spare time. Worth Googling to see his great black and white photos. I learnt a lot about the techniques of developing printing and colouring photos. The House has been opened to the public by the National Trust and is run by volunteers who take you on a really interesting tour! The house is very near to the Anglican Cathedral which has an excellent car park!!
I knew nothing about this Photography museum till Blipper Guernsey Sue mentioned it and the three of us had a wonderful Blipmeet day in Liverpool visiting this house and then having an excellent meal in the Bistro Jacques! We sat and talked for ages! We would have visited the Williamson tunnels but they were closed on Wednesdays!
