Spring Bulb Planting
A friend stopped by today to do a few things I cannot yet do. Planting crocus and windflower bulbs before the rain arrives tomorrow... or so the weather people claim.
This is a small bed with eastern sun.
I'll visit again in spring.
The black plastic trays secure on the bed are from a garden center. They lay on the soil to (I HOPE) protect the bulbs from marauding squirrels and other diggers.
I look forward to the bumblebees arrival in early next spring. Their food will be blooming for them.
