Silica

Wet and windy today so it's an inside blip. I keep these pieces of stone (a quartz crystal; a piece of Leopard Jasper; a bit of Rose Quartz; a chunk of Obsidian) in a wooden bowl with an Agate lid that I once bought in Brazil. The significance that I like to remember is that all of these piece of rock - despite their apparently very different appearances - are all made of the same material - silica. Basically they are all silicates with a few different 'impurities' added..... just like humans in fact! (a profound blip for the day!)
