No ducklings on my walk today either, but I did find this guy with the crazy hairdo.  I've met him on my walks before but not photographed him.  Today I thought he'd make a reasonable substitute for ducklings.

Back in the holidays I blipped the Nelson marina at night.  I sent the photo to the local newspaper's 'online readers photos'.  Last week my mum wrote to say they'd published it in the newspaper itself.  Today she texted to say it has had a half page spread in another local paper.  chuffed!

They've used my photos before, but this feels a bit odd seeing I don't live there anymore - and I'd never have even known if my mother hadn't told me!  Decidedly more exciting than this duck, but some days you just have to settle for blipping what's available.
