Scary Splice.....

For years, I've resisted the notion of marriage. (I was engaged for approximately ten minutes in my twenties, but that was a moment of madness, brought about by a combination of red wine and a euphoric Monopoly win. Don't ask.)

Now however, at the age of 52, I've decided to take the plunge and throw myself into the choppy waters of partnership.

My intended is younger than me, and to be honest, a bit out of my league, but just look at what he'll be getting - an almost doctor, with frizzy ringlets and a fat bum. Irresistible!!!!

Wish me luck. (And if you're sending an engagement present, I'm very fond of anything expensive aqua coloured....)
