ABSTRACT THURSDAY - PASTELS

I was puzzling about what I should do today for Abstract Thursday, when I remembered very late last night that today is the service for Hannah, a blipper known as Jellybean79, who died suddenly a couple of weeks ago. 
 
I never knew Hannah, but I felt a bond with her, as we commented on one another’s blips and shared our lives with each other.
 
I sensed that she didn’t want sympathy concerning her illness, but just wanted to be treated normally, so I would often say something humorous and hope that it would give her a lift on that particular day.  I knew that things were difficult for Hannah, but she was obviously the sort of person who just got on with things and kept trying, however, hard she found life.
 
I have been in touch with BlackTulip, who is a friend of Hannah, and I know that Hannah’s family are very appreciative of the support she received from Blip during the time that she was taking photographs and writing her journal.
 
It therefore seemed fitting that as the subject for Abstract Thursday is pastels, I should take a photograph of some of my jellybeans and dedicate this blip to Hannah - I imagine from her username that she liked jellybeans! 
 
We think of Hannah today and all that she meant to so many people - especially her family and pray that they may know the peace that God gives at times like this.
