Goodbye

Saying goodbye to our daughter, with whose company we have had the pleasure (mostly) of the past two weeks, is not the happiest of ways to begin my 56th year. On the bright side, we know we are leaving her in a great apartment (shown here) in a wonderful neighborhood, plus she is within easy flying distance rather than half way around the world like she was for the past year. We had one last family meal before we started our drive north to LA and the end of our fabulous vacation.
