Five Courses

I had a really nice afternoon wandering around busy London; taking in the Bauhaus exhibition at Barbican before walking across Tower Bridge to see the Olympic rings and finding my first Anchor Steam beer in over a year in The Rake. We then spent ages in Green Park people watching whilst eating strawberries and drinking G&Ts/free beer. It maybe wasn't the best idea to have an ice cream an hour before a five-course meal, but it seemed the right decision at the time. We had a feast in a jazz bar/restaurant on Dover Street as a birthday present from G's Mum- the food was really good, and atmosphere really relaxed. There seemed to be a generally good atmosphere across the city; it was nice to be there for something other than work!
