Bob Dylan!

We were delighted to hear today that Bob Dylan, one of our all-time favourites and the most influential song writer of our generation, was the recipient of the 2016 Nobel Prize for Literature! I couldn't resist combining this photo from the cover of our CD, Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits Vol. 2, with a background of my box of pastels twirled in photoshop elements.  The theme of Abstract Thursday is Pastel.
When our older granddaughter Krista was about 3 or 4, we tried to convince her that her favourite musician was Bob Dylan.  For quite a long time she'd answer with his name when we asked her who her favourite musician was.  We even bought her a tape (remember those?) for Christmas!  I think her mum and dad finally convinced her otherwise.  :))
So maybe he doesn't have the greatest singing voice according to some people, but he certainly can write!
