inside Beverley Minster

There are many beautiful and interesting decorations inside the Minster, but this view doesn't feature in the leaflet I was handed as I walked in. It is looking through to the place where the Percy canopy is. The ceilings are fantastic - this one painted with scenes, but some just have delicate (from ground level anyway) patterns. Many interesting carvings of people playing old musical instruments.

Beverley itself is charming - I couldn't see a shopping mall anywhere, just a pedestrianised street with real shops! Well worth a visit.
