I spent the morning with the chat and craft ladies, it was more chat than craft today. I had to frog my work 3 times because I'd lost count and done too many wrong stitches! The afternoon was then spent at a PTA meeting; my first one not being the chair. It was a complete shambles, no order or structure and no agenda had been sent out beforehand so nobody knew what was being discussed. I was happy to walk away from the meeting but then later this evening the pangs of worry set it. They are going to destroy everything I worked hard at organising and running, so I've stupidly told them I'll help out at every event in the run up to Christmas. I don't want anyone else to think I've left them to struggle to cope but they blatantly told us they were going to do everything a new way, yet are now doing everything exactly the same way that we did - but all arse about tit. So my planned step back and let them get on with it is now turning into another term of being there for everything because good old dependable Shell just can't say no. Especially when it looks like they are going to literally rip the PTA apart. They did get the minutes out quite quickly but the spelling, grammer and punctuation were worse than a 12 year olds. It's a good job the parents don't get to see them.
