Gay Pride in Reykjavík

I was going to take a picture of the Gay Pride Parade in Reykjavik today, but I was sick - and I'm never sic - I could hardly move and slept more or less the whole weekend (this is a backbip) - and the weather was very bad.

Therefore I "loaned" this page of the Newspaper to show you how people didn't let the bad weather hinder them in attending the parade and the mayor of Reykjavik, Jón Gnarr always attends. He is not gay and he is a stand up comic and a very funny man. When asked why he wanted to be a mayor he said he never had had a steady income. He supported the movement to Free the Pussy Riot girls from prison in Russia.
