Gardening Disaster

Just to show that not everything goes well in the garden.

In fact there have been a few failures this summer due to the cold and wet, but this hanging basket just looks pathetic.

We don't know why the begonias haven't grown as the basket has been planted up a while and in the greenhouse. Nothing happened inside, so we brought it out and things have got no better.

It's possibly the compost or the fact that we've lined the basket with some strange new fibrous matting, supposed to be moisture retaining, but might not suit these plants.

Anyway we live in hope.
