Liberty Island/NYC Skyline

We had a fantastic first full day here in NYC and started it by walking the short distance down through the Financial District to Battery Park to get the ferry over to Liberty Island.

We done the Statue of Liberty tourist stuff and went into the crown.

We then headed over to Ellis Island and got the lowdown on the fantastic history of the immigration process.

The NYC skyline was amazing. I've never seen anything like it before.

Once back we went for a walk round heading for the Brooklyn Bridge but a few tired people meant we stopped for a beer or two at happy hour at the historic Seaport area before heading back to the hotel.
