The Rainy Hoy Hills

The Waterside Cafe in Finstown made a comeback this week - reopened on Tuesday (under nude management) and today we took out my Mum for lunch.  It was very busy so good luck to them.  The owner’s car has only got one Michelin tyre. 

I then trundled through to Stromness for my flu jag.  Folk in the surgery were girning about the day of rain; already they have forgotten about the warm sunny days of early October.

Dougal has got the shingles.
