Right place, right time.
Just occasionally one ends up in the right place at the right time. However to be that lucky twice on the same day ,for me at least, is unheard of.
We left Hereford and my brother in laws at 8-30 this morning and headed for a quiet cafe on the road through the Brecon Beacons ,for breakfast.Being creatures of habit the Honey Cafe is our regular stop and normally peaceful. This morning it was full to overflowing with students on a mountain expedition, but thankfully they had all been fed, and we squeezed in, As the students left they were replaced by builders from a local housing development. The staff looked overwhelmed however it wasn't long before our breakfast arrived. Along with our food the premises was suddenly invaded by at least 40 members of the Western Chapter of the Harley Davison Owners Club. Most had to sit on the picnic bench"s outside. As an admirer of Harleys my breakfast was bolted down and the camera retrieved from the backpack asap. Only one picture is an impossible dilemma so i have picked this Heritage Softtail and will enjoy the others at my leisure.
We continued our journey towards Llandovery when the second photo opportunity of the day appeared. Suddenly immediately overhead an R A F Hercules seemed to be attempting to be landing on the straight piece of road we were travelling along. Chris grabbed her iPhone in time to capture the second Hercules that was flying even lower.
Rarely do two such opportunities just appear in such a random way
