Mandatory Meet up

First day of training was very interesting but i didnt get to the the Species Encoder portion of it as the Excel-based application would not run on my Mac/LibreOffice. Nevertheless it was great to know the efforts the DENR-BMB agency is doing towards promoting biodiversity in the country. 

Cin and I were supposed to go to UP Diliman after the training. We waited at Quezon Ave for a taxi, bus, jeepney, van but not one was available. We stayed by the side of the road for more than an hour before giving up. Our friends were kind enough to come to us instead. The road going to our end was a thousand times emptier than the road going to them. We stayed at Shakey's just across the street where we were waiting. Good food and good fun with these people!
