Olive Press

In this picture you can see the two long wooden arms of the olive press which are in the hotel bar. This was the main hall in the monastery and there are several impressive archways and a high vaulted ceiling. It has been beautifully restored.

Today we did a short walk after breakfast to see a villa where we stayed several years ago - and from which we first discovered this hotel. Then we played tennis. The views from the court across to the mountains are splendid. We had lunch by the pool and then read our books before having another walk before dinner.
