About time I did a round up of things that are going on, so (God willing etc) I can look back at them in a year or two. Well, it was a wet day and all I did outside was fill the woodshed.
Brexit shenanigans rumble on and nothing is any clearer - except that May will trigger something that will be presented to parliament next spring. The early Brexit optimism (which followed Brexit pessimism) has abated leaving the pound sliding everywhere. Next holiday suitcase will be filed with food from the M&S at Edinburgh Airport. No change there then actually. Haw.
And Nicola fires the starting gun for Indyref#2 sending her supporters into delirium. Except she doesn’t really, but it’ll keep the pot boiling.
And Trump looks increasingly beleaguered as the latest tape revealing that he’s a groping asshole surfaces. Except that he seems to cruise on, whatever is revealed, and is still in the race.    
And Dario Fo passes away.
But the big news! Bob Dylan wins Nobel Prize! Sheesh!!!!!
