Momma and baby...

My daughter and her daughter at dinner tonight. Taken at ISO 6400 without a flash. They are both joys in my life. The baby smeared herself, the table and the floor with cookie, pie, roll and water. She thoroughly enjoyed the experience and we thoroughly enjoyed watching her. I kept adding to the tip, the more the baby enjoyed herself. When we left the whole outer layer of baby was sticky. Mara is 7.5 months old now. Momma and baby are obviously delighted with each other.

Today I am grateful for the presence of momma and baby (and the baby's uncle) on a day-to-day basis in my life. It is a tremendous gift. I am grateful for the love in my life from family, friends and animals (pets), and, of course, the roof.
