Dawn Pond, Sheffield Park
Up and around for the first time this autumn in time to catch the sunrise!
These are the results from a stroll across the Parkland at Sheffield Park between about 7:45 and around 8:30 this morning.
The pond that features in today's main photo is being restored from an overgrown, muddy tangle. The work started on Monday of this week, and the drainage man was finishing off with his digger nearby today.
The pill box in the 'Extra' is very close by. The large tree with the sun behind the branches is also nearby, on the edge of the flood meadows along the River Ouse. The final photo in the 'Extras' was the first to be taken, as I was making my way over the higher part of the South Park on my way toward the Ouse.
