Bill Exposed

St Giles Cathedral

Tripod in hand I paid my £2 photography permit then set about studing the architecture for some nice angles and symmetry. I employed my ultra wide angle lens so that I could include everything from the floor right up to the detail in the very high ceilings. I took multiple images with varying exposures so that I could perform some HDR post processing when I got back home, though the effect is subtle as I prefer natural looking photographs. It was very busy so I knew there would be some ghosts of tourists in my photos but I tried to minimise this by timing exposures between the groups.
