Great spotted woodpecker

A really grey day but the birds did nt mind and there were plenty in the garden again. I have nt seen the woodpecker for a while but it was back several times today. I think this is a young male with the red at the back of his neck but a few red feathers showing on his head still.
I had the Puffin Pool this morning. Anne's back from her trip to New York so it was good to catch up on what's been going on.
The weather tomorrow looks abit wet but we do need some rain so not too worried.
