Kayaking

Kilda got picked up from the flat this morning on the bark and ride as we were going over to Loch Fascally for a day’s kayaking lesson with Ali from OceanAlba. Met him at the local service station before heading to the Loch. Went through the basic manoeuvring skills while heading up to the top of the loch to have a nice lunch. Even include proper coffee. The afternoon session involved a few more advanced skills all around manoeuvring. Ali was very patient and explained everything well. It drizzled for most of the morning but the autumn colour on the loch were fantastic. Good to have some more time on the water before we go to Antarctica in a few months time. We are hoping to get some kayaking done there. Kilda got dropped off at the flat while we were on our way back. Quiet night in after J collected our packet of garlic bulbs from next door.
