Barber pole

I had to go downtown to buy tea today.  Across from Brits where I buy tea, is this barber shop that still has the sign outside whose content spirals around ceaselessly. There are four barber shops in downtown Lawrence although many men nowadays seem to go to hairdressers, pay much more, and come away with fancy shaped haircuts. No longer does "short back and sides" suffice!
