Silvereye on Pohutakawa.....

I sat in our  garden as still as a mouse with my 300 lens to capture this cute wee bird, flitting around the brilliant red flowers enjoying the nectar...
These trees flower from October to January and are called New Zealand Christmas trees.....have a happy weekend.......
