Heaven's Gate

This charming gentleman was handing out flyers outside 'the Space' (venue 39, the Radisson Blu hotel on the Royal Mile) for a play he is in called 'Heaven's Gate', a play by Annie James about the Titanic.

Written for the centennial of RMS Titanic, this evocative drama is set in the few hours following the disaster and focuses on three very different people who were on board the ship. Their stories, taken from actual accounts, mirror the experiences of hundreds of passengers on board the liner on that frozen night.

Just back from performing in New York and Halifax, Nova Scotia, this performance will tour all the Titanic cities in the course of 2012. It opened in Liverpool on 7th April 2012 before going onto Southampton for the anniversary of April 14th.
