Prayer Flags

Today we visited the Tibetan Mongolian Buddhist Cultural Center here in Bloomington.  It was a lovely experience in solitude and quiet.  About all we heard were birds and the gentle sound of prayer flags in the breeze.  That is until another visitor discovered the singing bowls in the gift shop and persisted in rather aggressively playing them, most likely not as they were intended to be played.  Nevertheless, it was a lovely interlude in a busy day and we came away much better for the relaxing visit.  The Extra is a charming tree of birdhouses near the temple.
