Homecoming Oakland

This photo, simple as it seems, tells a lot. First, it's the homecoming parade for Oakland High School. Second, the big guy in question is my boss, principal and athletic director Jeff, with his daughter Kaylee on his shoulders. Third, the guy to the right is the English teacher I am taking the place of this winter. Fourth, the lady (look real hard) to the left is the scorekeeper for our basketball season. I coached her daughter Shelley here over 30 years ago. Fifth, the streets portrayed here are pure, unadulterated Oakland. That's Homecoming here.
