desert flower

Today we docked in Cabo, Mexico - the very southern tip of the California Baja peninsula. Hubby and I took a jeep tour of the desert behind the resort. They have had a drought for 3 years in a row - great for sun seeking tourists but not so great for desert life. This was the only thing blooming, and it is called a Mayflower because it usually blooms in May, not in August.
