Rocking Robin

Slept pretty well.....continuing where we left off on holiday :-)

After breakfast we did a few on line chores before walking in to town, mainly for the exercise, but we did need a couple of things. We had to pop into Reds, having been absent for 3 weeks, enjoyed our cappuccinos.

Once we got back, called in to see our neighbours for a quick catch up before having a sandwich and a cuppa for lunch.

Next, it was time to tackle the garden.........lots of expired hanging baskets and troughs to clear out, hub cleared out most of the greenhouse, I did some major cutting back, weeding, sweeping, cleared some stuff from the pond. The green bin is now full to the brim, so we had to call it day around 4.30!

I sat in the garden with my camera and a cuppa for an hour, hoping to catch something for today's blip........this little Robin is the best I can offer. He was perched on top of next doors fir tree, didn't come anywhere near our garden whilst I was there :-/

Hub picked the last of the tomatoes, and I used them to make a pasta sauce with a couple of chillies and garlic from the garden, which we had with prawns, mushrooms and pancetta over linguine ;-)

Now to settle down for a bit of Strictly :-)))
