Drive-By Shoot

Today, Miss C is excited, whilst Beloved and I remain apprehensive about how the evening might progress.

Much earlier though, Miss C, her brother and I made the short journey to Asda in Colchester, selected for its child-friendly design your own pizza bar with it's wide toppings selection, together with mountains of other suitable party food. Before we arrived, we passed the old Severalls Hospital, the second asylum built in Essex, way back in 1913, which we talked about briefly, I mentioned the raft of great photos of its derelict interior on Flickr and how I'd like to get a shot of it before it disappears at the hands of developers. In the flash of an eye, Miss C had my phone in her hands. With the window wound down, she was snapping away at the aging architecture. Job done!

Today is the occasion of Miss C's birthday celebration, with a sleep-over including five of her friends. Somehow, I suspect sleep will be languishing on the agenda, some way below AOB!!
