Adjusting....

You may recall that 3 of the kids went for an eye test last week and that Megan is to wear glasses for watching the telly and blackboard work. She is really upset at the moment when I ask her to wear them and she would rather turn the telly off than wear them. I have said that if she wears them at home just now until she gets used to them before starting to wear them at school. I remember the awkward feeling of wearing glasses but they are like part of me now and it's easy to forget that I was as upset as Megan when it was my turn!! We will get there and eventually she won't even think about them!!

Katie got up poorly today......2 days before she starts school, can you believe it??? Thankfully she was much better by lunchtime and has eaten well this afternoon. Fingers crossed no-one else gets it!!
