Long way round

Today I saw a helicopter land in a field not more than 30 foot from where I was standing. Very exciting. I took a few pictures, but it turns out that pictures of helicopters a few feet off the floor totally lack any of the 'interestingyness' of the actual event itself.

So here's some more abstracty goodness instead. Who'd have thought some railings would make a better photo than a helicopter?
