Black Beauty

I spent a wonderful day with my daughter ( whose birthday it is tomorrow), her new partner and my mum........such a welcome distraction from recent worries :-)

I spotted this beautiful creature on my way home and just couldn't resist stopping to say hello :-)

It turns out MiL has pneumonia complicated with an infection, she is comfortable and hasn't got any worse.......which I think is probably the best we can hope for at the moment :-)
