A New Friend

We went to the National Zoo today primarily to see the pandas. Thankfully they cooperated because youngest was really looking forward to seeing them. The baby even climbed a tree for us.

On another note, while looking at a cassowary, which is almost extinct, a man came up and was talking about how it and other large birds have evolved. It was really sad as when we looked at all of the vast variety of animals at the zoo, we couldn't help but be in awe of our amazing Creator for making so many different animals.
