Love And New Opportunities.....

The chrysanthemum is said to be named by the Greek, who called it 'Krus Anthemon', or 'The Golden Flower. The red symbolizes love, the yellow, new opportunities, and the white represents truth. This one must be a bit of both, red and yellow ! In China and Japan, they are held in high esteem and are associated with happy emotions.....cheerfulness, peace, friendship, optimism, loveliness, wealth and abundance. It has it's very own holiday in Japan. In Asia the chrysanthemum is used to make tea and considered to be medicinal. I like these colourful flowers as they last quite a long time when in a vase.
