Lauterbrunnen to the Trummelbachfalle

Walked to the falls today. It's a really awe inspiring sight, no way to capture it properly so I didn't bother to Blip it. Look it up and see the pro photos out there for a taste of it.

The Trummelbach falls are partly inside the mountain and are accessible via a lift and stairs. It's amazing how the water has cut such a path through the mountain. It drains the glacier defiles of the Monch, Eiger and Jungfrau (wiki).


This a view of the Weisse Lutschine river, which the falls empty into. It's a strange colour, I guess because of the glacier water.
