Draining

The Beech hedge has joined the spirit of the season with colour of the leaves draining away.  At least it will hold onto them over the winter.

The showery autumnal weather is proving good for multi-tasking.  I continued setting the garden up for winter until it began to rain.  That drove me indoors and I could get on with indoor things without feeling guilty that I should be outside.  The list of indoor things to do is extensive - just as well the hours of darkness is increasing.
