Damson Gin Decanted

Last week, I'd found this eight litre Kilner jar in Sainsbury, with tap dispenser. Perfect, I thought, for the maturing damson gin.

I transferred the gin to the jar this afternoon from the plastic box in which it has been festering. The jar is now sitting in a dark corner of the kitchen where it should keep suitably warm.

I was a bit too keen on smashing up the damsons. The brew will now also have to be filtered.

Not much else to report. The day started wet. The sun was out before lunch.
