One of three we took off the dog.

She is off the lead a lot now and going in all sorts of places after all manner of quarry so she will pick up these parasites. Surprisingly she has been freshly treated with a spot on treatment to kill endo parasites but these are very tough creatures!

Anyway, we purchased a tick card at the vet in Kyle of Lochalsh and they were soon removed, maybe they were already dying? She didn't seem to care but this one was on her nose!
