London lines

The whole family went to visit my Dad at UCH Westmoreland Street.

He's doing fine. He's still in the Critical Care Unit because there are no available beds on the wards.

It's interesting which of my children look at all the tubes and cannulas and beeping machines and asks questions and which ones shy away or find it not curious at all. On my mothers side of the family, everyone was/is a doctor. In my generation of the family and on our side, we broke the mould entirely - there is just one niece so far who has grabbed hold of medicine as a career.
