Rain-shine on Millport

This weekend being the last before school starts back, and the weather promising nice things, we took our bikes by train and ferry to Millport (along with half of Glasgow and environs...!)

We took our time, stopped and ate frequently, fell out a bit over silly things, got rained on at the same time as it was sunny and too close to wear rain gear, admired the harebells in bloom, enjoyed the views, and generally we had a thoroughly good time.

Found the Cathedral of the Isles after a bit of a detour, and it was well worth it - a lovely place to visit, as we got to listen to someone preparing for an organ recital later that afternoon.

Shortie is now happy using 4 of her 6 gears, which is real progress...
