Back to normal

Well, the monster storm we expected didn't materialize.  As one TV meteorologist put it, "What was supposed to be a lion turned out to be something more along the lines of a lizard, with maybe a bit of attitude."  Today was a more normal Autumn day - cloudy, rainy, and enlivened only by the remarkable colors that the trees and bushes are turning.

Thank you to all of you for your congratulations on my 100th  Blip.  I'm amazed I made it this far, and your encouragement has made all the difference.  And I was delighted to learn that your support sent my Abstract Thursday image to page 10 of the Populars!
